Technical Sales Engineer for Process Control

Position Summary:
The Inside Sales/Applications Engineer plays a crucial role in both pre-sales and post-order processes, providing essential technical and commercial support to our internal teams and external clients. This position focuses on representing products from leading manufacturers in the automation solutions sector, catering to various process control industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with our technical capabilities.
- Develop and submit detailed proposals that reflect the best commercial solutions.
- Act as a liaison between Vinson Process Controls and its principals, delivering technical product information and commercial insights to clients in the Energy sectors, including Oil and Gas, Refining, Power, and Chemical industries.
- Maintain regular communication with customers through various channels to assist in equipment selection, quotation development, and order processing.
- Collaborate with Vinson Account Managers and management to address customer inquiries, competitive analysis, and technical solutions.
- Provide high-level technical assistance to clients regarding product selection, application, start-up, and maintenance.
- Participate in training sessions and presentations to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Qualifications:
- Relevant technical or sales experience in engineered products within the industrial process control or oil and gas sectors, or equivalent engineering/operations experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while demonstrating business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to foster effective relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and take ownership of customer quotes and orders.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Capability to operate standard office equipment and comprehend complex information.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training and organizational meetings, with the ability to navigate plant sites safely.
