Final Control Sales Associate

Location: Lewisville, TX

Schedule: Full-Time

Vinson Process Controls, a prominent provider of automation systems for process control and reliability monitoring, is seeking a dedicated Sales Associate. This role is essential in supporting our internal and external clients with both technical and commercial insights following the sale.

The Final Control Sales Associate will:

  • Assist the Sales and Engineering teams with various responsibilities to facilitate the sales process, including order management and administration.
  • Collaborate with factory staff and vendors regarding product delivery, accounting, order status, special pricing, and returns.
  • Foster professional relationships with key customer contacts to enhance their experience post-award.
  • Support other business units within Vinson as needed, as well as assist production, accounting, and warehouse teams with order entry and related tasks.
  • Engage in continuous cross-training across multiple Vinson business units.
  • Review customer orders before entry to ensure accuracy in pricing, tax, tagging, addresses, and quantities.
  • Prioritize orders based on delivery requirements and ensure timely order entry to meet customer deadlines.
  • Monitor open order reports and take proactive measures to prevent delays, maintaining clear communication with the sales team.
  • Manage prioritized requests and tasks that require effective communication within the company.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary for the sales team, including sending order confirmations and tracking information.
  • Complete all documentation requirements for orders, collaborating with credit and documentation specialists as needed.
  • Provide switchboard relief when necessary.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of the products offered.
  • Carry out general office duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with order generation and entry procedures.
  • Experience as a Sales Associate or equivalent training in detail-oriented sales support or customer service roles.
  • Proven ability to follow up with customers regarding order status and tracking.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
