Key Responsibilities & Expectations- Account Development: Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within the power distribution equipment market by researching potential accounts, building rapport with key decision-makers, and providing technical expertise.
- Technical Sales Expertise: Leverage your in-depth understanding of power systems, circuit breakers, switchgear apparatus, and related technologies to effectively communicate product features and benefits to clients.
- Order Fulfillment & Customer Support: Process orders accurately, ensure timely delivery, and provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Market Analysis & Competitor Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new sales opportunities and develop effective strategies.
- Continuous Learning & Improvement: Maintain a strong understanding of our product offerings through ongoing training and development initiatives.
- Associate's degree from an accredited technical college, preferably in electrical power or related field; Bachelor's degree in engineering or business is a plus.
- 2+ years of proven experience in power distribution equipment sales or 5+ years of technical sales experience within industrial, production, or large component environments.
- Working knowledge of industrial mechanical engines, pneumatics, hydraulics, or diesel equipment is beneficial.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Intermediate computer skills including email, internet, data entry, and MS Excel; experience with CRM systems like NetSuite is a plus.
