The Final Control Sales Associate acts as a vital resource post-sales and post-order, delivering both technical and commercial insights to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Sales and Engineering teams with designated tasks to facilitate sales activities, including order processing and administration.
  2. Collaborate with factory personnel and vendors regarding product delivery, order status, special pricing, and returns.
  3. Maintain strong professional relationships with key customer contacts to enhance their experience after the award.
  4. Support other Vinson Business Units as needed, along with production, accounting, and warehouse operations related to order entry.
  5. Engage in ongoing cross-training across various Vinson Business Units.
  6. Review customer orders prior to entry for accuracy in pricing, tagging, addresses, and quantities.
  7. Prioritize orders based on delivery requirements, ensuring timely order entry to meet customer deadlines.
  8. Monitor open order reports and take proactive measures to prevent late deliveries while keeping details current and effectively communicating with the sales team.
  9. Take ownership of prioritized requests and tasks, requiring both internal and external communication.
  10. Handle additional duties for the sales team, including sending order confirmations and tracking information.
  11. Complete documentation requirements for all applicable orders, collaborating with credit and documentation specialists as necessary.
  12. Provide switchboard relief when required.
  13. Possess a basic understanding of the products offered.
  14. Perform general office duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with order generation and entry procedures.
  • Experience as a Sales Associate or equivalent training in detail-oriented sales support or customer service roles.
  • Proven ability to follow up with customers regarding order status and tracking.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

This position requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to perform essential duties effectively.
