Position Summary:
The Inside Sales/Applications Engineer plays a crucial role in providing both pre-sales and post-order support to our clients, delivering essential technical and commercial insights related to our offerings from Emerson Automation Solutions and other esteemed manufacturers. This position is vital in supporting various sectors within the process control industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients daily through various communication channels to assist in the selection of appropriate equipment and solutions.
- Develop and submit detailed quotations while ensuring timely follow-ups and order processing.
- Collaborate with Vinson Account Managers and management to address customer needs, competitive landscapes, and technical inquiries.
- Offer high-level technical support to clients regarding product selection, application, and maintenance.
- Participate in training sessions aimed at enhancing product knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications:
- Relevant technical or sales experience in engineered products within the industrial process control or oil and gas sectors, or equivalent operational experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A strong commitment to customer service excellence, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset to foster mutual success.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build robust relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring adherence to deadlines and ownership of customer interactions.
