Job Overview:
This role, reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, is fundamentally collaborative. The Senior Recruiter plays a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent to address our dynamic staffing requirements. Operating in a fast-paced setting, the Senior Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to define staffing needs, formulate effective recruitment strategies, and enhance the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet staffing goals by recruiting and assessing candidates while advising management.
  • Perform various complex and confidential administrative tasks requiring knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
  • Act as the primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Regularly analyze recruitment metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and manage external talent pipelines.
  • Ensure data integrity within the applicant tracking system, including updating candidate and job statuses.
  • Prepare and maintain recruitment reports for the Human Resources Director and executive leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Keep accurate and current candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
  • Facilitate onboarding training and manage necessary paperwork.
  • Guide the hiring process from recruitment through to the first day of training for new hires.
  • Ensure proper onboarding for new employees, including the completion of essential paperwork and background checks.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Operations to coordinate pre-start activities and onboarding logistics.
  • Manage the creation of employee files for onboarding purposes.
  • Conduct thorough pre-screening interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
  • Analyze recruitment trends and market data to proactively address potential challenges in talent acquisition.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments efficiently with hiring managers.
  • Work with management on diversity initiatives to ensure equitable hiring practices.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and networking opportunities to engage potential candidates.
  • Implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's visibility and attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and partner organizations.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by the Human Resources Director.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including online job boards and social media, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about job duties, working conditions, and benefits.
  • Review and verify new hire documentation to ensure compliance with federal labor laws.
  • Assist in the agency billing process.
  • Facilitate effective communication between hiring managers and candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Process background checks and drug screening results, making hiring decisions based on company policies.
  • Manage security clearance processes for candidates as required.
  • Coordinate and review live scan results for candidates, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Oversee EEOC reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment.
  • Proven track record as a recruiting specialist in a fast-paced environment, preferably in non-profit or retail sectors.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all candidate interactions.
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks with accuracy and speed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Exhibit professionalism when interacting with staff, visitors, and external partners.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.
Work Environment:
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods and perform various physical tasks.
  • Work indoors in a controlled environment.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per CDC guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
