Job Overview:
This role, reporting to the Human Resources Director, is fundamentally collaborative. The Senior Recruiter plays a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and securing top talent to fulfill our dynamic staffing requirements. In a fast-paced environment, the Senior Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, formulate effective recruitment strategies, and enhance the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve staffing goals by sourcing and assessing candidates while advising management.
  • Perform various complex and confidential administrative tasks requiring knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Act as the primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Continuously evaluate recruitment metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Develop and manage external talent pipelines.
  • Maintain data integrity within the applicant tracking system (ATS), including updating candidate and job statuses.
  • Generate and maintain recruitment reports for the Human Resources Director and executive leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure accurate and current candidate records in the ATS and other recruitment databases.
  • Facilitate onboarding training and documentation for new hires.
  • Manage the hiring process from recruitment through to the onboarding of new employees.
  • Guarantee proper onboarding for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Operations to coordinate pre-start activities and onboarding logistics.
  • Conduct thorough pre-screening interviews to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
  • Analyze recruitment trends and market data to proactively address potential challenges in talent acquisition.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments efficiently with hiring managers.
  • Work with management on diversity initiatives to ensure equitable hiring practices.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and networking opportunities to engage prospective candidates.
  • Implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's visibility and attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and partner organizations.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by the Human Resources Director.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including online job boards and social media, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information regarding policies, job duties, and employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal labor laws by reviewing and verifying new hire documentation.
  • Manage the candidate background check process and review results in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate and review candidates' drug screening results based on company policies.
  • Oversee security clearance processes for candidates requiring company vehicles.
  • Manage EEOC reporting and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in recruitment.
  • Proven experience as a recruiting specialist in a fast-paced environment, preferably in non-profit or retail sectors.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ATS and recruitment software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor when interacting with staff and external partners.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
