Job Overview

Position Summary: The Lead Executive Recruiter plays a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and securing exceptional executive talent for key leadership roles within the organization. This position demands extensive knowledge in executive recruitment, encompassing the identification of high-quality candidates, conducting in-depth evaluations, and overseeing intricate hiring processes. The Lead Executive Recruiter collaborates closely with the leadership team and hiring authorities to fulfill the organization's executive staffing requirements with outstanding talent.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Executive Recruitment:
    • Design and execute thorough executive recruitment strategies to draw in senior-level candidates who resonate with the organization's mission and values.
    • Engage with the leadership team to comprehend the specific needs of each executive position and formulate precise job descriptions and candidate profiles.
    • Employ diverse sourcing techniques, including networking, industry gatherings, executive search agencies, and direct outreach, to connect with elite executive talent.
  2. Candidate Identification and Evaluation:
    • Perform comprehensive sourcing to discover potential candidates, utilizing industry insights, professional connections, and digital platforms.
    • Evaluate and screen candidates' qualifications, leadership potential, and cultural compatibility through detailed interviews and assessments.
    • Maintain a robust pipeline of high-caliber executive candidates for present and future leadership opportunities.
  3. Candidate Relationship Management:
    • Foster strong connections with executive candidates, serving as a trusted consultant throughout the recruitment journey.
    • Share in-depth information about the company's vision, mission, and strategic goals with candidates.
    • Oversee the entire candidate experience, ensuring consistent communication, timely feedback, and a streamlined recruitment process.
  4. Collaboration with Stakeholders:
    • Work closely with the leadership team, hiring managers, and HR executives to ensure alignment on recruitment strategies, candidate profiles, and hiring decisions.
    • Offer expert insights on market trends, compensation standards, and best practices in talent acquisition to guide decision-making.
    • Facilitate executive interviews, debriefing sessions, and final selection meetings with key stakeholders.
  5. Negotiation and Offer Management:
    • Lead the offer process, including negotiations of compensation packages, benefits discussions, and finalizing employment contracts.
    • Advise the leadership team on competitive compensation strategies to attract top-tier talent.
    • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new executive hires, coordinating with HR and other departments.
  6. Brand Promotion and Networking:
    • Enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice among executive talent through networking, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives.
    • Represent the organization at prominent industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to elevate the company's profile and attract leading executive talent.
    • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the company's executive recruitment brand and visibility.
  7. Metrics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze key executive recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity outcomes, to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on executive recruitment activities, market insights, and candidate pipelines for HR leadership and the executive team.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously enhance executive search strategies and improve recruitment results.
  8. Compliance and Confidentiality:
    • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the executive recruitment process.
    • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when managing sensitive candidate and company information.
    • Ensure accurate and current records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in executive recruiting or senior-level talent acquisition, with a proven track record of successfully placing senior executives.
  • Extensive experience in executive search methodologies, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment.
  • Strong understanding of leadership competencies, executive compensation, and market trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complex recruitment processes with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and executive search tools.
