Talent Acquisition Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Human Resources Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in providing HR support to the organization. The primary focus is on identifying and attracting top talent, particularly within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the organization in sourcing qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Contribute to effective human resource management to ensure smooth operations within a healthcare facility.

  • Evaluate a high volume of resumes and applications.
  • Engage in outreach activities such as job fairs and networking to find suitable candidates.

  • Thoroughly screen resumes to identify candidates that meet both professional and personal qualifications.

  • Conduct initial interviews via phone or in-person to assess candidate compatibility before forwarding to hiring managers.

  • Coordinate in-person interviews with senior management.
  • Support managers in identifying essential skills and competencies necessary for final candidate selection.

  • Facilitate salary negotiations in collaboration with upper management.
  • Perform background checks and reference verifications for candidates.
  • Administer pre-employment assessments, including medical and psychological evaluations.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of the recruitment process.
  • Adhere to organizational recruitment policies and strategies.
  • Propose innovative approaches to enhance recruitment practices.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote job openings through various channels.

  • Monitor staffing needs and recommend new hires as necessary.
  • Advocate for effective employee benefit programs to improve organizational performance.
  • Stay informed about trends in the healthcare job market.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and make adjustments as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, particularly in the healthcare field.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends and best practices.

Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building relationships with candidates and colleagues.
  • Proficient in recruitment technologies, including applicant tracking systems and job boards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
