Sales and Dealer Development Assistant Manager

The Assistant National Sales Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the National Sales Department Manager and Area Sales Managers in achieving Suzuki's sales and distribution objectives.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the planning, implementation, and management of sales strategies, dealer development programs, and maintaining a strong Suzuki brand image among dealers and retail customers.

The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the National Sales Department Manager to drive business growth through dealer network expansion, effective sales strategies, and sales staff development and evaluation.

Key Tasks:
  • Assist in identifying potential dealers for expansion in target markets and generating data to support this effort.
  • Support the National Sales Manager in staff development, training, and evaluation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction.
  • Assist in analyzing market trends, laws, and regulations applicable to the power sports and motorcycle industry.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, including sales performance, market penetration, and dealer evaluations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and suggest improvements based on data analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Five to 10 years' experience in the power sports or motorcycle industry preferred.
  • Two to five years' experience in sales, dealer development, or related field roles.
  • Two to five years' experience in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales-related applications.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support sales and dealer development activities.
