Location Overview

Our resort is located in a picturesque mountainous region, surrounded by lush forests and offering guests exclusive access to a beautiful lake. This setting is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, providing a range of activities throughout the year, including hiking, biking, fishing, and winter sports. The resort features a dining establishment, wellness center, and ample event space.

Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team. As a key representative of our dining establishment, you will play a vital role in shaping our guests' experiences. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness at dining tables, presenting menus, and serving food and beverages efficiently. A proactive and engaging demeanor is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with guests to take food and drink orders.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food preparation.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of meals to guests.
  • Possess knowledge of menu items, including beverages and food pairings.
  • Suggest additional menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience.
  • Process payments accurately and according to established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with resetting non-food areas.
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Support other team members as needed.
Work Environment

The position involves working in a climate-controlled indoor setting, with potential exposure to outdoor elements. Care must be taken when handling hot items and navigating various surfaces.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or event service preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Must obtain required certifications.
  • Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business.
