Location Overview:
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is beautifully situated in the San Bernardino Mountains, offering breathtaking views and access to outdoor adventures. Surrounded by Ponderosa Pines, this resort provides guests with a variety of activities year-round, including hiking, fishing, kayaking, and more. The resort features a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach, along with extensive meeting and event spaces.

Position Overview:
The Spa Guest Services Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily operations of the Spa and Fitness Center, ensuring a serene and professional atmosphere. This position involves welcoming guests and providing comprehensive information about the facilities and membership options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcoming guests upon their arrival at the Spa.
  • Conducting tours and sharing information about the Spa and Fitness Center's offerings.
  • Promptly answering phone inquiries and assisting guests in selecting suitable services.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of spa and resort offerings, acting as a knowledgeable ambassador.
  • Accurately registering guests for day passes and membership programs.
  • Following up on product recommendations from service providers and assisting with retail sales.
  • Adhering to daily checklists and communicating any needs or concerns to management.
  • Reporting maintenance issues or equipment failures in a timely manner.
  • Upholding a professional appearance and adhering to grooming standards.
  • Documenting any incidents or injuries and reporting them to the appropriate department.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization in the men's and women's spas and fitness center.
  • Promoting positive guest relations through efficient service and timely resolution of complaints.
  • Being flexible with work schedules to meet the hotel's business needs.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures for safe and efficient operations.

Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to the primary duties, this role may involve performing supportive functions as determined by management, including:

  • Delivering items to guest rooms or assisting with inventory tasks.
  • Collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Completing other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred.
Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Skills: Proficiency in computer usage, effective communication skills in English, and basic mathematical abilities are essential.
Applicants should be able to work weekends and holidays and demonstrate a friendly demeanor when addressing guest and associate concerns.
