Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Service Associate to join our team at Caesars Entertainment. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for obtaining necessary food items from the banquet kitchen and setting up in the Lakeview Lounge. You will also be responsible for bussing tables during the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure there is an adequate supply of china, silver, glassware, and other food service accessories at assigned stations at all times.
- Clear tables of all items when customers have left and place soiled dishware into appropriate compartments of the bus tub; dispose of garbage.
- Set up food/snack tables for guests.
- Roll bus tub cars into the kitchen and unload full bus tubs in designated dish area.
- Assist and take direction from the Maitre D' Assistant and Host.
- Familiarize yourself with SOS behavior and adhere to the principles of excellent guest service and interactive skills.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Fluent and literate in English.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Above-average communication and personal interaction skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
- Mobility to constantly move about the property.
- Ability to lift bus tubs weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to push/pull bus carts weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk up to eight hours.
- Visual range must include near and far distances.
- Auditory range must include immediate environment.
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs.
- Ability to use repetitive hand motion, holding, grasping.
This position requires the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
