Amazon is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for our Global Seller Communications team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping and executing a premier communication strategy for our Seller News platform.

This position will oversee the vision, content direction, performance metrics, and overall strategy for Seller News, collaborating with various teams across SPS and Amazon to curate, develop, and promote content that resonates with our sellers while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic vision and execution of the Seller News initiative.
  • Foster partnerships with internal stakeholders, including communications, public relations, legal, and business units.
  • Coordinate efforts across teams to generate impactful content for the selling partner community.
  • Ensure that essential messages, updates, and content are presented in a manner that enhances the seller experience.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Exhibit sound judgment, especially under tight deadlines.
  • Align activities with core business objectives and convey key messages effectively.
  • Champion the Seller Experience.
  • Navigate complex and rapidly changing communication challenges with ease.
  • Design test plans and explore innovative content types for Seller News.
  • Leverage data, insights, and seller feedback to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Regularly communicate progress and performance metrics in business review meetings.

About the Team:

The Selling Partner Communities organization is dedicated to fostering strong connections with our Selling Partners (SPs) and driving their success. Our platforms, including Seller News and Forums, are utilized by millions of SPs globally to engage with Amazon and cultivate an active, inclusive community.

We are currently innovating ways to empower our SPs to connect with one another, build communities, and interact with Amazon.

Seller Strategic Communications is committed to ensuring that every communication received by SPs from Amazon is informative and empowering, reinforcing a robust partnership and building trust.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing cross-functional marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate results to senior management.
  • Proficient in utilizing data and metrics to drive enhancements.
  • Experience in presenting metrics and progress to leadership.
  • Familiarity with testing, marketing optimization, and experimentation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Excel or Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to address shared challenges.
  • Experience in developing and scaling cross-functional programs and content.
  • A keen interest in organizational dynamics and the ability to translate insights into accessible communication.
  • Innovative in exploring new and engaging communication methods.
  • Strong news judgment and excellent writing capabilities, with experience in leading editorial teams.
