Job Overview

Position: MRI Technologist - Radiology

Location: Specialist Office

Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in MRI technology
- Adequate training and expertise to independently conduct MR and/or radiographic procedures
- Current ARRT registration and good standing
- Advanced MR certification from ARRT
- Graduate from an AMA accredited radiography program
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the relevant state
- Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to physicians' directives and comply with safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Maintain precise patient documentation within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Execute routine and advanced MRI examinations on specified body areas for diagnostic purposes with minimal supervision
- Screen patients prior to examinations for any necessary precautions or contraindications
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately for optimal scanning
- Adjust scanning parameters as required
- Uphold ACR toolkit and accreditation standards
- Assist in the upkeep of an updated MRI protocol manual and facilitate software enhancements
