Role Summary

Davidson's Inc. is on the lookout for a dedicated individual with a passion for shooting and hunting, coupled with experience in external sales and/or merchandising, to take on the role of Field Sales Consultant for the Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin regions.

As a Field Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and sustaining profitable relationships while maximizing sales opportunities with our existing clientele, as well as seeking out new accounts. You will serve as an external representative and a true brand ambassador for Davidson's, showcasing expertise and a commitment to service that enhances customer satisfaction and drives mutual growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the face of Davidson's brand by promoting products and services to both current and prospective clients.
  • Highlight the advantages and features of the Davidson's GuaranteeD program and the Gallery of Guns platform.
  • Maintain effective communication with the sales management team, providing regular updates to ensure sales and client goals are achieved.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the dealer network within your territory, going beyond just the top accounts by delivering prospecting reports, account development strategies, and sales forecasts for potential growth.
  • Offer technical assistance to our online customers.
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities through diligent reporting and feedback.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Field Sales Consultant position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Reside within the Cedar Rapids metropolitan area.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the designated territory up to 90% of the time.
  • Possess a valid state motor vehicle operator's license and maintain a clean driving record.

  • A starting base salary of $75,000 + Quarterly Bonus Potential.
