Job Summary

Cosmos Club is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive and Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support to the Board of Governors, General Manager, and Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support services to the Board of Governors, General Manager, and Human Resources department.
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources in administration, benefits, recruiting, payroll, worker's compensation, employee data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Support the General Manager in all board initiatives, taking minutes at meetings when requested.
  • Compile and distribute Board/Committee documents and agendas as requested.
  • Coordinate Club communications and assist the Club Secretary in their duties.
  • Interact with Club's Board, Committees, and Staff.
  • Provide general administrative support, preparing correspondence, memos, and forms, translating as necessary, processing confidential documents, and tracking deadlines for the General Manager, HR, and Club Secretary.
  • Develop and utilize filing and retrieval systems, recording meeting discussions.
  • Assist the Director of HR with selected recruitment and selection activities.
  • Help administer benefits and assist employees with benefit enrollment and changes as needed.
  • Oversee all HR matters in the absence of the Director of HR.
Requirements
  • Two or more years of secretarial, administrative, and/or Human Resource experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills needed.
  • Experience with committees in a Club or similar organization preferred.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft are needed (i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.).
