Chief Human Resources Officer

Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent entity in sustainable development with a workforce of over 6,000 professionals globally, is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources to oversee enterprise-level HR functions.
The VP of HR will spearhead the formulation and execution of comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. This executive role is pivotal in fostering a cohesive culture, supporting various divisions, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HR transformation initiatives, focusing on the adoption of advanced HR technologies and the development of a Human Capital Management system to optimize HR processes and ensure compliance.
- Oversee specialized HR functions that align with organizational priorities, continuously evaluating and enhancing a culture centered on exceptional talent management.
- Formulate enterprise-wide policies that promote strategic goals, boost employee engagement, and strengthen organizational culture.
- Navigating the complexities of employment laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks and uphold a culture of compliance.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Plan reporting.
- Play a vital role in aligning HR resources during mergers and acquisitions.
- Support Board of Directors in HR-related matters, including compensation and succession planning.
- Deliver HR services across all divisions effectively.
- Develop the annual HR strategy and budget, managing resources to meet financial and programmatic objectives.
- Foster strategic partnerships among stakeholders to influence policies that support organizational growth.
- Act as a thought leader in HR development, sharing best practices and innovations across the organization.
- Encourage staff performance and professional growth, while exercising sound judgment in HR decisions.
- Create a collaborative workplace environment that values teamwork and recognizes staff contributions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
Experience & Skills:
- At least 15 years of experience in HR leadership, with a focus on strategic HR functions.
- Proven success in leading HR transformation and streamlining processes through technology.
- Experience with Human Capital Management systems.
- Familiarity with Employee Stock Ownership Programs is a plus.
- Background in government contracting and international HR practices is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities in complex managerial and operational issues.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage complex activities and budgets effectively.
- High emotional intelligence with a focus on empathy.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role ranges from $210,000 to $230,000, based on experience. Additionally, the position includes eligibility for a Short-Term Incentive Program and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, and participation in retirement plans.
