Chief Human Resources Officer

Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent entity in sustainable development with a vast network of professionals worldwide, is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources to operate at the enterprise level.
The VP of HR will spearhead the formulation and execution of comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization’s overarching goals. This executive role is pivotal in fostering a cohesive culture, supporting various divisions, and ensuring a favorable employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HR transformation initiatives, focusing on the integration of advanced HR technologies and the development of a Human Capital Management system to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Oversee specialized HR functions that prioritize service delivery in alignment with organizational objectives, while continuously cultivating a culture of exceptional talent management.
- Craft enterprise-wide policies that bolster strategic aims, enhance employee engagement, and promote a robust organizational culture.
- Navigate the complexities of employment laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks and uphold a culture of compliance across the organization.
- Ensure adherence to relevant labor regulations and reporting requirements.
- Play a vital role in aligning HR resources during mergers and acquisitions.
- Support Board of Directors activities related to HR, including compensation and succession planning.
- Deliver HR services across all divisions.
- Develop the annual HR strategy and budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with programmatic and financial objectives.
- Establish strategic partnerships among stakeholders to influence policy and programming that supports organizational growth.
- Act as a thought leader in international HR development, sharing innovations and best practices across the organization.
- Encourage staff performance and professional growth, fostering a collaborative workplace environment.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
Experience & Skills:
- At least 15 years of experience in HR leadership, with a focus on strategic HR functions.
- Proven success in leading HR transformation and process optimization.
- Experience with Human Capital Management systems.
- Familiarity with Employee Stock Ownership Programs is advantageous.
- Prior experience in government contracting and international HR practices is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex managerial and operational scenarios.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- High emotional intelligence with a focus on empathy.
