The VP of HR will spearhead the formulation and execution of comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and programs that are compliant and aligned with the overarching strategic objectives of the organization. This executive role is pivotal in fostering a cohesive culture, supporting various divisions, and ensuring a favorable employee experience. The VP of HR will be tasked with rethinking operational frameworks to address the needs of Shared Services, optimizing service delivery to Business Lines (BLs), and assessing the overall effectiveness of enterprise HR initiatives to enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead transformative HR initiatives, including the adoption of advanced HR technologies and process optimization, with a focus on developing a Human Capital Management system to improve HR operations and ensure compliance with data-driven programming.
  • Oversee specialized HR functions that prioritize critical service delivery in alignment with organizational goals, continuously assessing and evolving a culture dedicated to exceptional talent management.
  • Formulate enterprise-wide policies and practices that bolster strategic aims, enhance employee engagement, and cultivate a positive organizational culture.
  • Exhibit proficiency in navigating complex employment laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including those set forth by the Department of Labor and Equal Employment Opportunity standards.
  • Play a vital role in aligning HR resources during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support Board of Directors in HR-related matters, including compensation and succession planning.
  • Develop the annual HR strategy and budget, effectively managing resources to meet financial and programmatic objectives.
  • Build strategic partnerships among stakeholders and subsidiaries to influence policy and programming that supports organizational growth.
  • Serve as a thought leader in international HR development, promoting best practices and facilitating knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Encourage staff performance and professional growth, cultivating skilled managers and mentors.
  • Create a collaborative workplace environment that recognizes staff contributions and enhances synergies between divisions.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly preferred.

Experience and Skills:

  • At least 15 years of experience in HR leadership, with a focus on strategic HR functions such as talent management and organizational development.
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR transformation initiatives and leveraging technology to streamline HR processes.
  • Experience with Human Capital Management systems and their effective organization-wide application.
  • Familiarity with Employee Stock Ownership Programs is preferred.
  • Prior experience in government contracting and international HR practices is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to address complex managerial and operational challenges with independent judgment.
  • Strong leadership, vision, and management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate insights on complex HR issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage complex activities and budgets effectively.
  • High emotional intelligence, emphasizing empathy and compassion.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position is between $210,000 to $230,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the role is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Program up to 15%.
