Your Role:
Treasure Data is in search of a Human Resources Business Partner to collaborate closely with leadership and our Employee Experience team, providing support to our teams across various regions. This role involves addressing the unique needs of employees while strategically contributing to all Employee Experience initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, exhibiting hands-on involvement, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with assigned business units to gain a comprehensive understanding of business strategies and implement effective HR practices.
- Advise management on HR matters, including talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
- Proactively evaluate team and employee development needs, offering recommendations and executing suitable solutions.
- Handle employee disciplinary matters and guide business leaders on effective management strategies.
- Influence and shape organizational change, identifying challenges and developing strategies to address them.
- Work in conjunction with HR colleagues in Talent Operations, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, and other departments to implement effective solutions.
- Oversee strategic initiatives such as annual performance reviews and merit cycles, facilitating change management across teams.
- Promote employee engagement throughout the organization and serve as an ambassador for Treasure Data's culture.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HRBP experience in technology firms (small to mid-sized).
- Experience in scaling programs and processes during rapid growth phases.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment and navigate ambiguity with minimal guidance.
- Proficient in performance management, employee relations, and data analytics/reporting.
- Demonstrated project management and change management capabilities, with a track record of driving programs independently.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills, with experience building relationships at all organizational levels.
- A genuine desire to assist others and a keen interest in organizational and personnel issues.
- General knowledge of employment laws in various regions.
- Ability to operate at both tactical and strategic levels with sound business judgment.
- Experience working with a global remote workforce in a flexible startup environment.
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent HR experience.
Physical Requirements:
This position operates under a hybrid working policy.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel may be required as needed, varying from year to year.
