Role Summary

As a leading entity in financial advisory, Lazard provides strategic and financial counsel to clients worldwide, focusing on areas such as mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, capital structure, and capital raising. Our client relationships are founded on trust and confidentiality. Lazard's Private Capital Advisory Group ("PCA") stands at the forefront of raising private capital and executing secondary transactions for investment managers. PCA primarily engages with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, public funds, corporate pension funds, foundations/endowments, financial institutions, and asset managers. One of PCA's business lines is Real Asset Fund Placement, which focuses on advising infrastructure and real estate funds in their capital-raising endeavors. The team has extensive experience collaborating with both equity- and debt-focused managers across a variety of investment vehicles, including closed- and open-end funds, private REITs, and programmatic joint ventures. We are currently seeking a Senior Vice President for our Real Asset division to concentrate on transaction management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage regularly with clients and Lazard's institutional investor coverage teams.
  • Develop marketing materials, including investor presentations, private placement memoranda, and financial models.
  • Oversee the logistics of roadshows, travel, and related capital-raising activities.
  • Respond to investor due diligence inquiries.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of investor feedback and interest in specific funds.
  • Prepare presentation materials for potential clients.
  • Analyze client investment performance data and assist in due diligence investigations of prospective clients.
  • Monitor market data to support communications with fund managers and investors.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of six years of relevant full-time experience, preferably in placement agent or internal investor relations roles.
  • Strong organizational and confident communication skills, capable of managing senior client interactions.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and exhibit leadership qualities, contributing positively to team culture.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills, managing multiple deals within the Real Assets sector.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • High responsiveness, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and comfort in an unstructured environment that values initiative, creativity, and maturity.
  • Ability to mentor and empower junior team members.
  • Experience in Infrastructure or Real Estate is preferred but not mandatory.
