As the Senior Vice President of IT Solutions, you will provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction across all business units regarding IT systems. This role entails overseeing the organization's information technology applications, being a forward-thinking leader in assessing, selecting, and implementing software that enhances operational efficiency within the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate innovation discussions with the executive leadership team, clearly articulating product and technology advancements that benefit the organization.
  • Deliver innovative technology solutions across the company's portfolio, from conceptualization through development, implementation, and performance evaluation.
  • Identify and implement modernization initiatives that contribute to the organization's ongoing success.
  • Supervise the deployment and continuous support of new technologies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay informed about technology trends, conducting research on emerging developments in the real estate industry.
  • Design and establish IT systems for multiple operational sites.
  • Evaluate and recommend software solutions for leasing, property management, construction, development, asset management, and affordable housing.
  • Provide leadership in crafting creative solutions that align with the organization's vision.
  • Lead the IT business systems team, fostering development and structure within the group.
  • Manage the operating budget for the IT department, overseeing all resources, operational improvement initiatives, and procurement processes.
  • Ensure that all hardware and software solutions utilized or recommended are suitable and provide optimal functionality for the organization's needs.
  • Effectively communicate with the IT department and other department heads to address inquiries and resolve significant network issues.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior IT role (Director level or higher) within the multi-family real estate sector, with a preference for affordable housing experience.
  • Extensive expertise in Yardi Systems.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in generating and executing project ideas.
  • Proven leadership experience with a strong ability to guide a team.
  • Capability to conceptualize and achieve long-term business goals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
