Equity Research Vice President

Wells Fargo is in search of a Vice President for Equity Research focusing on Asset Managers, Brokers, and Exchanges. This role is pivotal in our Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) division, which offers a wide array of banking, capital markets, and advisory services to corporate, government, and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Vice President, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Analyst dedicated to the Asset Managers, Brokers, and Exchanges sector. Your primary duties will encompass:
- Conducting comprehensive equity research to deliver unique insights on industry trends and specific stocks.
- Developing and maintaining detailed financial models and databases.
- Writing in-depth reports on companies within your coverage and significant industry developments.
- Building and nurturing relationships with both internal teams and external industry contacts.
- Communicating research findings and team perspectives to various stakeholders.
- Exercising independent judgment while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with colleagues to address challenges and achieve shared objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Securities Research or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- CFA designation.
- Over 8 years of experience in the equity research sector, particularly in Asset Managers, Brokers, and Exchanges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with financial statement analysis and capital markets principles.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Expectations:
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
- Compliance with FINRA registration requirements within specified timeframes.
