About the Position

CBRE is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to lead comprehensive project management consultancy services for the establishment of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure across North America.

The Senior Project Coordinator will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring effective management of contractors, quality assurance, budget adherence, and the delivery of the Customer Value Proposition.


Key Responsibilities:


- Dedicate a minimum of 20% of time on-site to ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct audits, and validate HSSE performance by suppliers.

- Successfully manage medium to small-scale projects (EV Charging Stations), ensuring complete project execution by adhering to established project plans under the guidance of senior management.


Core Duties:

- Oversee all aspects of project management for electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure initiatives, including pre-project safety assessments, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality assurance, and risk management.

- Interpret and apply various project-related documents, including contracts, project charters, and technical drawings specific to EV projects.

- Collaborate directly with clients to ascertain project requirements for EV infrastructure installations.

- Develop detailed scopes of work, identify necessary resources for project execution, estimate costs and budgets, manage cash flow, create work plans and schedules, ensure quality control, and assess risks associated with EV projects.

- Identify and recommend qualified project delivery resources for EV initiatives, conduct requests for proposals (RFPs), perform bid analysis, and lead evaluation interviews.

- Implement a robust communication strategy for EV projects, which includes organizing project meetings, preparing written reports, and ensuring effective communication with clients and project teams.

- Establish governance for project documentation in alignment with company and client standards.

- Monitor project progress against established goals, objectives, budgets, and timelines.

- Execute change management processes tailored specifically for EV projects.

- Identify complex project risks related to EV infrastructure installations and devise effective risk mitigation strategies.

- Engage and manage architects, designers, and third-party contractors.

- Supervise all site activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

- Provide regular updates on project progress to suppliers and both internal and external stakeholders.

- Review contractor payment requests and budget status, ensuring accuracy in invoicing for work completed at construction sites.

- Oversee the successful completion and handover of projects.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in construction project management.

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction project management.

- Familiarity with site layout design and electric utilities is preferred.

- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

- Professional Engineer licensure or PMP Certification is a plus.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with MS Project is required.


Compensation:

CBRE considers various factors to determine compensation, including education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $120,000 annually, with a maximum of $140,000 annually. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role includes benefits such as 401(K), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance.
