Position Summary

The Senior Project Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in liaising with UKG clients. This position is accountable for the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of new product implementations for our clientele. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in managing intricate HCM/WFM projects concurrently, often involving multiple phases, and will demonstrate proficiency in communicating and negotiating resources, costs, and timelines with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct project discovery sessions with client representatives and UKG project teams.
  • Develop and articulate project work plans, including scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Proactively manage and resolve project-related issues.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential project risks.
  • Set and manage client expectations regarding project deliverables, adapting communication as necessary.
  • Utilize change control processes to manage alterations in project scope and schedules.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings between clients and relevant internal resources.
  • Ensure that both clients and team members fulfill their project commitments to achieve successful launches.
  • Maintain adherence to UKG's implementation methodologies and processes.
  • Oversee project plans, issue logs, and other documentation to ensure client satisfaction and project milestones are met.
  • Manage project financials, including invoicing and resolving any financial discrepancies.
  • Lead projects to successful completion within designated timelines, ensuring high customer satisfaction scores.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a client-facing enterprise software implementation environment.
  • Proven track record in managing high-volume, complex software implementation projects.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is advantageous, particularly with strategic clients.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to collaborate effectively within a project team and mentor peers.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving project scopes and resource needs.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in scheduling, preparing presentations, and generating status reports, complemented by exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the HCM or WFM sectors.
