POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Architectural Project Leader, you will be instrumental in the effective delivery of architectural projects from inception to realization. You will work in close collaboration with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure exceptional design quality, functional effectiveness, and compliance with project timelines and budgets. Your proficiency in architectural design, technical detailing, and project oversight will significantly enhance the firm's overall success and impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage design teams throughout all project stages, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
  • Create and produce architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details.
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve design challenges, and ensure adherence to design intent and construction standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consultants to incorporate sustainable design principles into projects.
  • Guide and mentor junior architects, providing insights on design principles, technical detailing, and project management best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accredited degree in architecture.
  • A minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Proficient in design software, including Revit, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex architectural projects from concept through to completion.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for design excellence.

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000. Final salary decisions will be based on the candidate's education and experience, considering internal equity and external market factors.
