Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, including financial reporting, tracking, and projection of labor, material, job expenses, and changes.
- Team Management: Develop and build strong teams for each project, delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget.
- Financial Management: Drive division profitability through effective project execution, managing monthly financial projections, creating job-specific schedules of values, and maintaining positive cash flow.
- Communication: Interact with customers to validate expectations, ensure schedule requirements are met, and adjust priorities and milestones based on changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.
- Project Management: Develop and lead project management technical and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, including labor, material, job expenses, and changes.
- Submittals: Create, submit, and manage all submittals, drawings, correspondence, and change logs throughout the project.
- Change Management: Price, budget, track, sell, and collect all proposed changes, and oversee invoice per project terms and negotiate appropriate change orders.
- Material Management: Prepare, organize, and manage material buyouts, schedule and track material releases, and coordinate with the General Contractor, project schedule, and Superintendent as needed.
- Cost Management: Set up all cost codes and production tracking with the Superintendent, assist in production tracking and analysis, and prepare and submit job closeout documentation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of project management experience in electrical construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, financial management, project management, team management, and cost management.
- Licenses: Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus.
