Overview of Market Intelligence & Analytics at Cardinal Health

The Marketing department plays a crucial role in evaluating customer demands, analyzing market dynamics, and assessing competitive landscapes to guide business strategies. This function is pivotal in executing strategies through the development, commercialization, and oversight of relevant products and services. Marketing Management is tasked with providing strategic direction and leadership within the marketing domain.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in marketing, finance, strategy, customer experience, business development, or data analytics is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, both primary and secondary research, and market intelligence practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with technical tools such as Qualtrics, SQL, AlphaSense, or similar market intelligence platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent communication abilities.

Expectations for This Role

  • Demonstrates a strong curiosity and initiative to uncover data-driven insights in response to inquiries from commercial teams.
  • Conducts independent research using market intelligence platforms, analyzes intricate data from various systems, and performs surveys to derive valuable insights for the Edgepark business.
  • Executes competitor analysis and examines market trends to formulate strategies that enhance revenue growth for marketing teams.
  • Assists the Edgepark marketing team by providing necessary datasets or insights to implement market strategies.
  • Develops innovative technical solutions to complex challenges, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Exhibits the ability to interpret complex data sources and transform them into clear, actionable insights for the Edgepark leadership team.
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to execute diverse tasks and projects.
  • May contribute to the formulation of policies and procedures.
  • Suggests new practices, processes, metrics, or models.
  • Engages in complex projects of significant scope.
  • Works independently on assigned tasks.
  • Receives general guidance on new initiatives.
  • May mentor less experienced colleagues.
  • Establishes standard tracking mechanisms for event and conversion tracking to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborates closely with the digital and channel marketing teams to assess, measure, analyze, and enhance content performance across various channels, aiming to improve customer engagement and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Creates consistent dashboards and develops models for data presentation, enabling the Edgepark marketing team to leverage data for actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.

Compensation Overview: The anticipated salary range is $78,500 - $130,035.

Bonus Eligibility: No.
