Position Overview

We are in search of a highly qualified and driven professional to oversee our Cybersecurity Consulting division. This pivotal role entails managing the operations of our team, ensuring top-tier service delivery to clients, and spearheading sales initiatives to enhance our presence in the government sector. Your strategic insight and technical acumen will be crucial in defining our consulting offerings, fortifying our clients' cybersecurity frameworks, and aiding them in achieving compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and facilitate new client engagements through meetings, proposal writing, and developing reusable content, while collaborating with practice and sales leaders to create tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
  2. Forge strong partnerships with Project Directors and the Business Development team to ensure the practice possesses the necessary capabilities and resources to fulfill projected business demands.
  3. Oversee the contractual delivery and financial outcomes of all Security Services initiatives.
  4. Provide exemplary leadership to the cybersecurity consulting team, nurturing a collaborative and innovative environment. Set clear goals, track performance, and mentor team members to promote professional growth and success.
  5. Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, comprehending their specific needs and customizing our consulting services to tackle their unique cybersecurity challenges. Serve as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  6. Leverage your extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, industry best practices, and emerging trends to guide the team in delivering superior consulting services.
  7. Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to broaden the client base and drive revenue growth. Identify new business opportunities, cultivate leads, and engage in client proposal responses and presentations.
  8. Ensure the successful implementation of cybersecurity consulting projects, guaranteeing they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  9. Stay informed about the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Utilize this knowledge to continually enhance our consulting offerings and position our group as a thought leader in the cybersecurity domain.
  10. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations across all consulting engagements. Advise clients on meeting compliance requirements and maintaining robust cybersecurity practices.
  11. Provide direct project support by delivering security consulting services for government clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the field of Cybersecurity.
  3. At least ten (10) years of experience in developing innovative Cybersecurity solutions.
  4. A minimum of ten (10) years of consulting experience with government clients.
  5. Five (5) years of experience in working with Healthcare systems.
  6. Three (3) years of experience in business development for government consulting services.
  7. Three (3) years of experience managing a cybersecurity consulting team and driving sales growth in a consulting context.
  8. Five (5) years of leadership and/or project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
  2. In-depth knowledge of MMIS, NIST, IRS, PCI/DSS security, and privacy considerations.
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, executives, and internal teams.
  4. Experience managing security at an executive level, such as a CISO, CSO, or CIRO.
  5. Project management expertise, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. A strategic mindset with the capability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities.
