Position Title:
Marketing Coordinator

Role Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will work collaboratively with multiple university departments to develop marketing materials for the University of Wyoming. This includes creating graphics, short-form videos, imagery, and written content that reflects the university's brand identity. The role also involves assisting in the formulation of social media strategies for both existing and new university accounts. Engaging with social media audiences by addressing inquiries and directing them to the relevant campus departments is essential. Participation in on-campus events to capture content and collaborating with team members to disseminate it across various social media channels is required. Building relationships with student-focused departments to generate pertinent social media content is crucial. Regular engagement reports will be provided to the supervisor, along with suggestions for enhancing social media interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and produce marketing graphics and content for various campaigns that align with the university's mission.
2. Create unique designs tailored for different marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and web.
3. Write and edit error-free captions and content for social media, ensuring frequent updates to the university's profiles.
4. Adhere to the university's brand guidelines to deliver high-quality marketing materials.
5. Understand UW's key audiences and their content needs, including prospective and current students.
6. Familiarize with Facebook Business Manager to assist in managing university-wide social media accounts.
7. Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify impactful content that supports the university's mission and goals.
8. Create engaging short-form videos for social media.
9. Thoroughly proofread and review all marketing content before supervisor approval.
10. Monitor and respond to public and direct messages on various social media platforms during weekdays.
11. Escalate significant social media concerns or comments to the supervisor with recommendations for resolution.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a design and production consultant to university personnel as needed.
2. Assist in delivering presentations, either independently or with supervision.
3. Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Remote Work Eligibility:
This position is essential for supporting campus clients and requires the candidate to be present on campus.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Art, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Licensure:
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
