Position Overview

Alchemy Worx, a distinguished agency in audience management, excels in email, SMS, and paid social marketing, catering to a diverse clientele from major corporations to local businesses. Our agency harnesses both traditional and innovative marketing techniques to enhance customer engagement and retention.


We are in search of a seasoned and enthusiastic CRM/Email/SMS Strategy Manager to cultivate a team of direct reports and spearhead initiatives for the rapidly expanding brands we support. This pivotal position will shape account strategies and the development of our offerings, business insights, thought leadership, and talent management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong affinity for client relations and team management, with a commitment to staying abreast of evolving trends in the industry.

This role is designed for candidates based in New York City, with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week at our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, mentor, and nurture a team of strategists and analysts engaged in multi-faceted client projects.
  • Facilitate organized and constructive discussions with team members to promote account growth, address challenges, and explore opportunities for professional development.
  • Contribute to agency initiatives and resource libraries, consistently seeking ways to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Craft tailored marketing strategies and programs for a portfolio of B2C brands, fostering trust and strengthening relationships with clients and partners.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex client issues affecting both your clients and your team.
  • Extract insights from client data to pinpoint strategic opportunities and formulate marketing plans.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams, including creatives, data scientists, producers, and marketers, to create and execute strategic plans and client roadmaps.
  • Provide guidance and constructive feedback to team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders across the organization to enhance internal capabilities and establish effective methodologies and best practices.
  • Negotiate annual contracts with clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a digital strategist or marketer, either on the client or agency side.
  • Extensive expertise in at least two of the following areas: retail, email marketing, social media, and search.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that yield measurable results.
  • Experience in team development and growth.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the connections between strategy, branding, marketing, product, data, and technology.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills to effectively engage and gain the trust of client executives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A curious mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and the capacity to influence others while navigating ambiguity.
