Job Overview

Vierra Management is dedicated to providing exceptional health and rehabilitation services, fostering a warm and inviting environment for our residents.

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become a part of our Dietary team at our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities

The Nutritional Support Specialist collaborates with the Dietary Manager to implement necessary adjustments and perform various tasks as assigned, including food preparation.

Adheres to established food service protocols and ensures compliance with all policies.

This role involves assisting with the delivery of food trays to designated locations, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen according to established guidelines, and ensuring proper washing and sanitization of kitchen utensils and dishes.

Additionally, the specialist prepares and distributes snacks as directed.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Serving meals in accordance with portion control standards.
  • Presenting meals that are visually appealing and appetizing.
  • Delivering meals promptly and efficiently.
  • Participating in daily cleaning tasks, including work surfaces, meat blocks, and refrigeration units as per established procedures.
  • Performing floor maintenance by sweeping and mopping as required.
  • Washing and sanitizing utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment following established protocols.
  • Managing waste disposal and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Setting up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.
  • Distributing menus as directed.
  • Assisting in verifying dietary trays prior to distribution and delivering food carts to designated locations.
  • Clearing food carts and trays from dining areas to the dishwashing area for cleaning.

Compensation: Starting at $16.70 per hour
