Role Summary:

We are currently in search of a proficient IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to our HHS Client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address both internal and external client inquiries, delivering technical assistance and training to end users, including high-profile individuals.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical challenges; escalate complex issues as necessary.
  • Set up and configure peripheral devices such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and storage drives.
  • Install and configure operating systems and applications on Windows and Mac platforms.
  • Maintain documentation of customer requests and track progress to ensure timely resolutions using Service Now.
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and user-related issues, recommending procedural adjustments or taking corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with essential computer hardware, including Dell systems, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Proficient in desktop operating systems, including various versions of Windows and Mac OS.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced functionalities of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also exhibiting initiative and independence.
  • Strong written communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities, focusing on relationship-building and effective listening.
  • Robust documentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, MCSE, or MCP in current Microsoft technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Professional.
  • Familiarity with Citrix and Cisco VPN support.
  • Significant experience with SharePoint.
  • Proven track record in mentoring junior technical staff.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $56,000 and $76,000 annually, reflective of various experience levels. Compensation at LCG is influenced by factors such as role, location, education, skills, certifications, and work experience.
