Position Overview:

The HR Operations Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources Operations division by executing a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at assisting the Benefits and Payroll teams. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to benefits and payroll, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Benefits and Payroll teams to manage incoming inquiries and ticket requests efficiently.
  • Oversee all aspects of benefit invoicing and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as the main communication hub for the HR Operations team, facilitating smooth information flow.
  • Assist in generating, editing, and troubleshooting reports within the HRIS system (ADP experience preferred).
  • Support the annual Open Enrollment process and provide necessary guidance to team members.
  • Conduct Verification of Employment and Medical Support Orders, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Facilitate the completion of Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Surveys.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality communications and presentation materials for various audiences.
  • Maintain and update communication channels to effectively reach all team members.
  • Manage enrollment activities, including life events and dependent changes.
  • Ensure data integrity through ongoing auditing and management of records.
  • Communicate directly with new hires and separated employees to provide necessary guidance.
  • Support wellness initiatives by organizing events and creating informative materials.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant government reporting regulations and collaborate with internal partners to maintain data integrity.
  • Assist the Payroll team with processing Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and terminations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including v-lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and a foundational understanding of HR reporting and workflows.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Strong project management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of compliance management and relevant legislation (ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, FLSA, ACA).
  • Ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
