Job Overview

Kopp Glass, a leading manufacturer of high-performance, custom glass products, is looking for an HR Generalist to manage established HR policies, procedures, and benefit plans while emphasizing best practices and compliance. The HR Generalist will provide essential support in various employee and labor relations activities, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, including ACA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, and OSHA, in line with company standards and best practices.
  • Collaborates with the HR Manager to offer guidance on disciplinary actions, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies, while keeping senior leadership informed of any significant labor relations issues that could affect staffing, productivity, or workplace culture.
  • Manages critical HR functions related to benefits administration for employee health and welfare plans, assists in talent acquisition, ensures corporate compliance and recordkeeping, supports the HRIS system, and oversees labor law compliance and safety initiatives.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with HRIS, ATS, or other HR software.
