Kopp Glass, a leading manufacturer of high-performance custom glass products, is in search of an HR Specialist to effectively manage established human resources policies, procedures, and benefit programs while ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards. The HR Specialist will provide dedicated support in various employee and labor relations matters, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers established HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations including ACA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, and OSHA, in alignment with company standards and best practices.
  • Assists the HR Manager by offering HR guidance and support to Production Shift regarding disciplinary actions, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies, while keeping senior leadership informed of any significant labor relations issues that could affect staffing and workplace culture.
  • Manages essential HR functions related to benefits administration for employee health and welfare plans, supports talent acquisition processes, maintains corporate compliance and recordkeeping, and oversees HRIS systems and safety initiatives.
  • Upholds confidentiality and professionalism when addressing sensitive and confidential information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, particularly in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, or other HR software.
