SUMMARY:


The Human Resources Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering Human Resources assistance to designated functional areas within the HR Department of the Company.

This position is primarily accountable for providing administrative support to the human resources function, which includes HRIS data analysis and entry, maintaining records, reporting, and file management.

The Coordinator's main responsibilities encompass:
employee communications; HRIS management and reporting; data analysis and validation; compliance with affirmative action and employment laws.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Responds to general inquiries from employees and management via the HR portal and email, addressing questions related to policies and internal procedures.

Monitors the HR Mailbox daily to ensure timely responses.


Drafts correspondence, processes transactions in HRIS and Payroll Systems, and maintains employee records in accordance with established processes and procedures for managing personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.


Acts as a liaison to field offices to oversee and respond to background check investigations and drug screening conducted by third-party vendors.

Provides support for background checks and drug screening programs in collaboration with field offices and external vendors.

Creates and coordinates the distribution of necessary compliance documentation, including FCRA-related materials concerning background checks and drug screenings.

Verifies employment and manages the entire employment verification process.

May assist in the implementation of new employment programs or policies, or updates to existing ones, as approved.

Contributes to the development of standard reports and fulfills ongoing reporting requirements as assigned. Writes, maintains, and supports various reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Helps ensure data integrity in systems by executing queries and analyzing data.

Assists with the maintenance of required reports, including the EEO-1 Report and Veterans Reporting information as necessary.

Prepares employee correspondence as needed.

Processes mail for the HR and Employee Benefits Departments.

Completes HR project work as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

Collects documents for subpoena responses as required.

Participates in audits of HR processes as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience and/or coursework in Human Resources Management.

  • Experience handling Human Resources-related transactions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, particularly with complex functions such as v-lookups and pivot tables.

High attention to detail is required.

Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills are necessary.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Prior experience with Human Resources transactions is advantageous.

Experience with ADP Systems or EV5 is preferred.

Previous work experience in Professional or Staffing Services Human Resources, Recruiting, or roles focused on onboarding is beneficial.
