About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Resources for Human Development. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized behavioral treatment plans, goals, and methods of intervention in conjunction with the family and other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Lead the team in the development and recertification of treatment plans, ISPs, goal setting, and overall treatment objectives for each client on caseload.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with therapists, case managers, funders, advocates, program specialists, behavior specialists, direct support staff, and program management to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide support to program management in assessing crisis intervention needs from a trauma-informed perspective.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Conduct screenings and assessments using validated tools to assess for depression, trauma, substance use, and risk/needs associated with criminal risk, and complete all required documentation.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement and training activities to ensure compliance and program excellence.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two years of experience in behavioral therapy or a related field.
  • Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Health and Human Services, or a related field.
  • Clinical Licensure: Clinical Mental Health Licensure preferred but not required.
