Position Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager for BioMed in the Midwest, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Getinge's infection control solutions, service agreements, and consumable products. This role involves collaborating with sales specialists to devise effective strategies for engaging with key accounts and nurturing potential opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass the sales targets set for each product line while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with sales specialists and service teams to develop comprehensive strategies for optimal account engagement and product bundling opportunities.
- Conduct account planning activities, track progress, and provide timely updates and reports as required.
- Prepare territory forecasts and maintain organized travel schedules for customer visits.
- Participate in scheduled conference calls with the Sales Director.
- Utilize company-provided customer relationship management tools effectively.
- Work closely with Customer Support Operations, Service, and project management teams to ensure exceptional product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company quality systems and protocols.
- Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, architects, and project managers regarding product usage and installation requirements.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, demonstrating professionalism and adherence to Getinge's Code of Conduct and Values.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain personal expertise through effective use of product information and technical resources provided by the company.
- Engage in training seminars, meetings, and on-the-job training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Participate in regional and national trade shows as required.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record in selling capital equipment to end users, preferably using a prescriptive sales methodology.

Essential Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated experience in complex sales processes. Familiarity with the Getinge Life Science equipment portfolio is advantageous.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Windows and Office Suite. Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations (70%-80%) and reside within the designated territory. A valid driver's license is required.
