Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Development: Enhance and nurture existing client relationships while establishing new accounts to propel sales growth.
  • Sales Forecasting: Deliver precise sales predictions and perform competitive analysis to guide strategic planning.
  • Market Analysis: Evaluate market segments to uncover growth and development opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Methodically plan daily activities utilizing CRM tools and a structured call frequency system to maximize sales potential.
  • Customer Engagement: Execute sales promotions, educational sessions, and lead generation initiatives to strengthen customer relationships. Tailor sales presentations aimed at boosting clients' annual sales.
  • Price Management: Suggest pricing adjustments within established parameters based on market trends and competitive insights.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns swiftly, investigate issues, and propose solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Administration: Maintain comprehensive sales documentation, including customer profiles and territory/account sales records.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated direct sales experience, ideally within the building products sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the building products industry and sales management experience in dealer, distribution, and/or two-step channel segments.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.
  • General awareness of major competitive brands within the industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities with a high level of integrity and self-motivation.
