Regional Sales Executive

Position Overview: The Kinetic Group is on the lookout for a Regional Sales Executive to oversee the Michigan/Northern Indiana area. This role is pivotal in driving sales across various sectors including Firearms, Ammunition, and Outdoor Products within the Wholesale, Buy Group, and Independent Dealer channels.
Reporting Structure: This position will report directly to the Director of Sales and is designed to be remote, allowing flexibility for candidates based in Michigan or Northern Indiana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets and business goals within the designated territory.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing direct accounts through regular communication and site visits.
- Identify and pursue potential new accounts to expand the customer base.
- Foster and develop strong business relationships with both current and prospective clients, as well as with Kinetic Group team members.
- Contribute to the formulation of long-term strategies aimed at achieving growth objectives.
- Plan, organize, and deliver impactful sales presentations, promotions, and events throughout the territory.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in accordance with company policies, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
- Provide valuable market insights, including competitive analysis, to sales management, and assist in crafting sales forecasts and strategies.
- Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and other assigned activities.
- Maintain precise and current records related to sales performance, planning, account details, reporting, and business expenses, adhering to established protocols.
- Manage operations within the allocated expense budget.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of Channel Sales experience in the outdoor products sector, specifically with Functional Wholesale, Buy Group, and Independent Dealers.
- Experience in the hunting, shooting, or sporting goods industry is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and business mathematics skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, professionalism, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including weekends, within the territory.
