Job Summary

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Tumwater, WA. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of clinical laboratory operations, including patient reception, specimen collection, processing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and team members
  • Retrieve and process blood samples and other specimens for laboratory testing
  • Perform data entry and verify specimen information for accuracy
  • Handle and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity
  • Comply with safety protocols, HIPAA policies, and quality assurance procedures
  • Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • WA Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including Saturdays
