Medical Home Development Group is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician for a full-time position.

We have an immediate opening for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist within our Toxicology Laboratory. The role involves screening urine samples for drug presence utilizing immunoassay techniques on a benchtop analyzer (Easy RA). A Bachelor's Degree in biological science, chemistry, or medical technology is preferred. Candidates must possess at least one year of experience in High Complexity Lab Testing.

Position Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Company's quality protocols in line with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with the Company's Health and Safety policies and DC OSHA regulations.

• Engage in the daily operations of the Laboratory, including sample analysis and related tasks.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other essential documentation (worksheets, spreadsheets, etc.).

• Manage inventory of chemicals and laboratory supplies.

• Receive, process, and analyze samples from sponsors or Contract Research Organizations using established analytical methods.

• Conduct data processing, quality control checks, and data compilation in preparation for report generation.

• Contribute to general laboratory maintenance, including equipment calibration, monitoring laboratory conditions (e.g., temperatures), and ensuring proper waste disposal.

• Perform routine laboratory housekeeping tasks.

• Maintain an up-to-date training record, ensuring familiarity with relevant SOPs.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Preferred: 3 years in a relevant field

• Required: Minimum one year of experience in High Complexity Lab Testing.

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree (Preferred)

Work Authorization:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Work Location:

• One designated location

Compensation:
Salary: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
