Position Overview:
The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for delivering precise diagnostic and therapeutic test outcomes to the designated healthcare provider with minimal oversight, utilizing suitable laboratory instruments.

Work Schedule:
Per diem, evening shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) along with weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employs quality control measures for routine decision-making to set standards.
  • Communicates critical results in line with departmental protocols.
  • Identifies abnormal findings and takes necessary actions according to departmental guidelines.
  • Accurately executes STAT and routine orders within designated timeframes, consistently showcasing teamwork.
  • Prioritizes tasks based on workload volume.
  • Effectively collects and/or processes specimens.
  • Safely conducts all routine maintenance tasks.
  • Performs and assesses instrument functionalities.
  • Undertakes additional related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree & ASCP or NCA eligibility or equivalent initial certification is mandatory.
  • Preferred experience in a similar role.
