Position Overview
The Event Service Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and delivering exceptional service to guests in the dining areas during catered events. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the team responsible for serving meals and beverages to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Supervise the setup and breakdown of banquet functions, including the arrangement of linens, dishware, and glassware.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all service areas.
  • Assist in the training and development of staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback to enhance their experience.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all service equipment and materials.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor to represent the organization positively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or catering industry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy setting.
  • Valid food handling certification and any necessary permits for alcohol service.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate event schedules.
