The Event Planning Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing a multitude of requests through various channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions, to secure our exclusive private dining spaces. Exceptional client relationship management skills, a background in event sales, and practical experience in day-of event execution are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Restaurant Managers to successfully plan and execute private events for both small and large gatherings.
  • Maintain and manage the Gather software database for event inquiries.
  • Respond promptly to new event inquiries.
  • Develop a comprehensive private event reservation process and fee structure, informed by local industry standards.
  • Work with the Executive Chef to create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and design menus for large groups.
  • Oversee not only private events but also large parties within the restaurant.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately regarding deposits, fees, cancellations, and day-of policies.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales, deposits, and event calendars to the relevant departments.
  • Establish relationships with local businesses through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Foster connections to enhance and expand recurring tasting room programs, such as bocce ball, corn hole, paint nights, and trivia events.
