Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at New Realm Brewing Co. in Charleston. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing private events, including weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the General Manager and Restaurant Managers to book and execute successful private events for small and large parties.
  • Maintain and track a database of event inquiries and reservations.
  • Respond to new inquiries in a timely fashion and develop a robust private event reservation process and fee schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef to create event menus and plans.
  • Oversee private events and large parties in the restaurant, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately and efficiently communicate information regarding deposits, fees, cancellations, and day-of policies.
  • Develop relationships with businesses through local marketing and build relationships to maintain and grow recurring tasting room programs.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in event coordination or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or brewery setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and events.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Restaurant management experience.
  • Knowledge of local craft beer and brewing industry.
