  • Develop and implement service protocols that align with the hotel's luxury brand, consistently striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Oversee the banquet department's financial plan, emphasizing cost management and revenue enhancement.
  • Analyze banquet income and expenditures, identifying areas for improvement and executing strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Manage inventory control, including the procurement and oversight of banquet supplies and equipment.
  • Event Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and events teams to organize and execute events that fulfill the needs and expectations of clients.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including culinary, housekeeping, and audiovisual, to ensure all elements of the event are executed seamlessly.
  • Ensure all events adhere to hotel policies, health and safety standards, and luxury service expectations.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
  • Provide guidance and direction to the banquet team, establishing clear expectations and objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments, coaching, and mentoring team members to help them reach their full potential.
  • Encourage a positive work atmosphere that fosters creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Banquet Operations Director or in a comparable leadership position within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a commitment to developing and mentoring staff.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, with a knack for anticipating and exceeding guest needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Robust financial insight, with experience in budget management and revenue maximization.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with poise and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and luxury service standards.
