Visitor Support Services Coordinator

The Visitor Support Services Coordinator will deliver escort assistance and exceptional customer service to guests and visitors, supporting the mission of the Office of Military Commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive at the designated site at least one hour prior to scheduled proceedings to prepare the room, set up signage, and ensure cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with security personnel to verify credentials of victims and family members before they enter the viewing area.
  • Maintain site security by conducting necessary security measures, including operating a magnetometer or using a wand for screening attendees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding audio and video recording, preventing unauthorized recording of proceedings.
  • Report any violations of rules to the designated Government Representative and coordinate with security in case of disturbances.
  • Work with the Government Representative and installation staff if proceedings extend beyond regular hours.
  • Complete required training in accordance with company and client policies.
  • Record work hours daily in the corporate system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license required.
  • Interim Secret clearance is necessary to begin, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Availability for on-call work.
  • Proficient in various computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to attend all in-person meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Maintain a Secret clearance throughout the contract duration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as necessary.
